This McCleary Monday we are switching it up a bit. Todays feature is not shown on McClearys Maps because it is located inside Staunton. However, it is a historic home and is being featured this week in Historic Garden Week Tours. You can attend Garden Week Tours or drive by the home this week.

The Goodloe House was built in 1927 and was designed by a local architect, Sam Collins. Sam was the son of T.J. Collins. This Colonial Revival home has Craftsman-style accents, which creates a very unique design. The house has maintained integrity, and that can proved by the surviving blueprints.
