Architectural historian Sam Biggers will present

The Gravel Wall Building Craze in Augusta County

Biggers documented about 50 of these 19th-century buildings, constructed with poured cement slurry walls, for his master’s thesis. A short business meeting will precede the featured presentation. Light refreshments will follow the program. This event is free and open to the public.
